Making connections…

On a recent sailing trip to Southern Tasmania I was able to talk to some of Australia’s most skilled, passionate and respected timber boat builders about the PHBC’s Viking Longship project.  I was met with whole-hearted enthusiasm for such a rare and exciting project in the centre of Sydney – especially on hearing about the community/youth participation that is so integral to PHBC’s ethos.  It’s great to establish connections and support from committed experts in the field across the country…

Looking forward to the next stage – slipping on the historic Goat Island.
